Whats New in Kansas City?

The mingling smells of spices, coffee and fresh fruit fill the air. The colors are intense. The variety beautiful. Welcome to the River Market in Kansas City... we go there to get fresh fruit and veggies for the base. Global produce was a favorite stall to shop at.

Other than shopping for fruit and veggies, I've been keeping busy working around the base. We are in the process of cleaning a pool that hasn't been used for 5 years. This involves scooping out piles of leaves and getting frogs and turtles out of the water, and soon we will be scrubbing the green slime off. :) Good times for sure. We are also scraping drywall off the paneling inside so it is ready to paint. In the midst of all this us girls found time to go for a 12 mile walk and enjoy the great outdoors... that was a good day.

God is really doing a lot. He is preparing us as a nation... Kansas City is the center, the heartland of this. And a lot is happening here. God's favor is really upon YWAM here, His faithfulness is evident and the stories of His provision for the base here are endless. Please continue to pray for Kansas City... the heartland... and our nation as a whole.
