John 3:16

Week four of the DTS already... time is flying by. It has been a crazy busy week, but very good. Over the past few weeks we have had an amazing time of God moving and taking us deeper as a school. We've been studying "Jesus and the Cross" the last few days. It has been so encouraging as we looked back to the cross and what Jesus did for us and the freedom we have now as a result.

Here is a look at John 3:16...
GOD - the greatest lover
SO LOVED - the greatest act
THE WORLD THAT - the greatest result
EVERYONE - the greatest invitation
WHO BELIEVES - the greatest choice
IN HIM - the greatest object of faith
WILL NOT PERISH - the greatest escape
BUT - the greatest alternative
HAVE ETERNAL LIFE - the greatest thing imaginable.

I've been working with the Campus Ministry here in Bangalore... a team of us are going out evangelizing or helping with cell groups every week. This week two of the guys went to a coffee house and ended up building friendships with two drug addicts/dealers. They had some great conversations and are meeting them again same time next week. So praise God for that and I'm praying for opportunity to share the gospel with them. We are also running a 3 day camp end of September called Slingshot. The camp is focused on empowering and encouraging post-modern youth (around 300 people). I have been going around with the promotion team every Sunday as they are sharing at different churches. I am helping out on the stage design team, so we are planning and getting creative with the decorating, banners, design, and making short video clips to play throughout the camp. I am really enjoying getting to be a part of this ministry. It is going to be a powerful time of seeing God move. Please be praying that God will bring the right people to the camp.
