History Makers

So week one of the Discipleship Training School has come to a close. It's been a great week of learning and growing and meeting new people. Our 45 students are here and I'm having great fun getting to know each of them. We had a speaker come in from Australia (Tim Hanna) and he spoke on the nature and character of God... so the students are learning about what it means to live by the spirit and not the body, what it looks like for God to be our father and us to be His children, hearing God's voice, and so much more.

We spent time walking in the city one day praying and hearing God about local outreaches. One day a week we will split into teams and go into the city evangelizing and blessing people through various ways. Some examples are: slum ministry, medical, parks, coffee houses, pubs, random acts of kindness, feeding the hungry, etc. So everyone is getting excited about being a part of what God is doing here in Bangalore.

Personally I'm doing well, keeping busy for sure... started leading a small group this week with 4 girls, discipling, processing and praying together. They are amazing and God is doing much in and through their lives already. I'm still eating lots of rice and dahl... handwashing clothes... and simply enjoying being in India. I'm every bit as in love with it here as I was six years ago so it is good.
