worship at random

I love nature. And friends. And God. It just gets better when the three are combined! I sat on a blanket near the woods outside the local college campus last night with two dear friends. We had returned from a short hike in the woods where the birds were worshiping along with us and my friend's guitar playing. LOVE that all of God's creation was created to worship in it's own way! It was beautiful to just sit in the presence of God. Our words were few but looking into the dark sky and musing on who God is and what God is doing in each of us in the season was enough. It was peaceful, it was restful, it was worshipful and I felt God's presence around us. We pondered on what it means to live a life of faith. How we have to believe God is who He says He is even if we don't see or feel it. Basing our lives on truth and not emotions or feelings. TRUTH of who God is. TRUTH of what God has called us to. TRUTH of who we are in God. Humanity at its weakest, God's power, and the human mind. Love that God brings like-minded people together to challenge, encourage and press each other towards Him and His desires!
